Thousands of miles away in another country another event was unfolding. But it was of a different time. The general layout of Diadem Bank is such that you are inhibited and then allowed in at the gates to the bank but swiftly checked with a metal detector; I guess to ascertain if potential customer was carrying a weapon, at the revolving door to the bank.

Anita Ellen are her 2 first names. The management of the bank has made it a matter of importance that her surname should not be revealed. Of-course she has read the dreaded little red book, they all say. Some had even mentioned she wrote the book herself.

But the truth of the matter is that the Red Book arrived by courier services straight from Diadem Bank's main branch at Seattle just at the precise moment Anita Ellen arrived at the revolving doors of Diadem Bank's local branch.

Anita was thinking to herself, ''location location location.'' But it was more like ''facilities, facilities, facilitators.'' She did not want to ask a single soul for directions to the Head Manager's office in the building. She was already drawing conclusions about the bank's strategy: look good from the outside and then once the custom gets in, push as many bright coloured brochures as the customer can bear to look at.


Back home Dr. Uli Yang stifled an emerging yawn, all this small stuff for 4000 Euros upfront and another 7000 Euros if it all goes well. But Uli Yang is smarter than that. He knew the 4000 Euros was to encourage him and then the 7000 Euros was for a well and smoothly done job.

The logistics involved won't be a quantum leap in computation. It is more likely to take more than that.
